Cancellation & Refunds
How to stop paying us, what you get back, and the statutory form if you would rather use it.
EFFECTIVE 2026-09-05
1.Cancelling a subscription
1.1Go to the billing page and press Cancel subscription. That is the whole process. There is no call to make, no email to send, no form to complete and no sequence of offers to decline.
1.2Cancelling stops the next payment. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then the account drops to the Free plan rather than being deleted.
1.3Cancelling is deliberately no harder than subscribing. That is a requirement of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 which is not expected to be in force until spring 2027; we apply it now.
2.The 14-day right to cancel
2.1Under regulation 29 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you may cancel a contract made at a distance within 14 days, without giving a reason.
2.2For a digital service, regulation 37 ends that right early, but only where all three of the following are true. If any one of them is missing, your 14 days run their full course.
2.2.1You expressly consented to the service beginning within the 14-day period. We ask for that as its own tick box at checkout, and it is not ticked for you.
2.2.2You acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel once the service had been fully supplied. We ask for that as a second, separate tick box, also not ticked for you.
2.2.3We supplied you with confirmation of both on a durable medium, as regulation 16 requires. We do that by repeating both statements, word for word, in your order confirmation email — which is a transactional email and is never combined with anything promotional.
2.3Our server checks both acknowledgements again before a subscription is provisioned. If either is missing, we do not start the subscription immediately, and your full 14 days remain.
2.4If we ever failed to give you the information regulation 13 requires about the right to cancel, the cancellation period would be extended to twelve months and 14 days.
2.5We also give you a fresh 14 days after every renewal, counted from the renewal date. That is a Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 requirement which is not expected to be in force until spring 2027; we apply it now, and we say so rather than presenting it as something we are already obliged to do.
3.Refunds
3.1Where you cancel within a period during which the right in section 2 still applies, we refund what you paid, less a proportionate amount for the service already supplied, within 14 days of being told.
3.2Where we close or materially reduce a paid plan, we refund the unused part of the period.
3.3Where the service was not of satisfactory quality, was not fit for a purpose you told us about, or was not as described, your remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply: repair or replacement, and then a price reduction. Ask us and we will deal with it.
3.4Refunds go back by the same method you paid, and we do not charge a fee for making one.
3.5Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
4.Before you are charged, and before each renewal
4.1Before you pay, we show you on its own screen: the amount including VAT, the billing period, the date of the next payment, and how to cancel. This is the key pre-contract information required by the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, applied early.
4.2Before each renewal we send a standalone reminder — seven days ahead for a monthly plan, thirty for a yearly one — repeating the amount, the date and how to cancel. It contains no offer and no marketing, and it is never bundled into another email.
5.Allowances
5.1An allowance is a measure of how much of the service you may use in the period it belongs to. It is not money, not stored value, not redeemable for cash, non-transferable, and there is nothing to refund in it.
5.2Unused allowance does not carry over. There are no credit packs and no top-ups to buy or to return.
6.Complaints and disputes
6.1Write to support@bulwellhosiery.shop. We aim to acknowledge within one working day and to resolve or explain within ten.
6.2We are not a member of any alternative dispute resolution scheme, and there is no general obligation on us to join one. If we cannot settle a complaint between us, you can take the matter to court.
6.3These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales; if you are a consumer resident elsewhere you keep the mandatory protections of your own law and may bring proceedings in your local courts.
7.Model cancellation form
7.1This is the statutory form set out in Schedule 3, Part B to the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You do not have to use it — a clear statement in any form is enough, and the one-step control on the billing page is enough — but it is here because it must be.
