Cookie Policy

1.1A session cookie, so that you stay signed in between pages. It expires when your session ends.

1.2A security cookie carrying a token that protects forms against cross-site request forgery. It expires with the session.

1.3A preference cookie recording your answer to the cookie banner, so that we do not ask again. It lasts six months.

1.4All three are strictly necessary for a service you have asked for, which is why they are set without consent under regulation 6(4) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003.

2.1No advertising cookies. No cross-site trackers. No social plugins. No fingerprinting. No third-party analytics that would identify you.

2.2If we ever wanted to add an optional analytics cookie, we would ask first, and it would default to off.

3.1Reject all and Accept all are the same size, in the same style, side by side, at the same level of the banner. Neither is emphasised over the other and neither is hidden behind a second screen. That is what the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations require and it is also just fair.

3.2You can reopen the banner at any time from the link in the footer and change your answer.

3.3Rejecting changes nothing about how the service works for you, because there is nothing optional to reject yet.

4.1The Privacy Policy covers everything else we hold, including your right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
